These terms govern your use of this website. The most important of them is the medical disclaimer below, which we would ask you to read even if you read nothing else on this page.
The information on this website is general in nature and is not medical advice. It describes the areas in which Dr. Massoud practises and what patients can generally expect. It cannot take account of your history, your examination or your test results, and it is no substitute for a consultation.
Nothing on this site should be used to diagnose yourself, to decide for or against a treatment, or to delay seeking care. Always consult Dr. Massoud or another qualified physician about your own situation. If you are already under medical care, do not change or stop any treatment on the basis of something you read here.
This website, its form, and WhatsApp messages are not monitored continuously and must never be used for anything urgent. In a medical emergency or active labour, go directly to the emergency department at Saint Joseph Hospital or call 140.
Using this website, sending an appointment request, or exchanging messages with the clinic does not by itself create a doctor–patient relationship. That relationship begins when Dr. Massoud sees you in consultation and accepts you into his care.
An appointment request submitted through this website is a request, not a confirmed booking. Your appointment exists only once the clinic has contacted you and confirmed a date, time and location. If you have not heard back within a reasonable period, please telephone the clinic rather than assume the appointment is made — see Clinics & Hours for the numbers.
Consulting times, locations and availability published here may change. We do our best to keep them current, but please confirm with the clinic before travelling.
Medicine and surgery carry risk, and results differ from patient to patient. Nothing on this website promises a particular outcome, success rate or recovery time. Risks, alternatives and expected results are discussed with you individually before any procedure, as part of informed consent.
We take care to keep this website accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee it is complete or free of error at all times. Clinical practice evolves. Where something here conflicts with what Dr. Massoud tells you in consultation, what he tells you in consultation prevails.
The text, design, layout and graphics of this website belong to the practice of Dr. Elie Massoud and to its designers. You are welcome to read, print or share pages for your own personal or medical use. Republishing, copying or reusing the content commercially requires written permission.
This website links to third-party services such as WhatsApp and Instagram, and may refer to hospitals and institutions. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their practices.
We aim to keep this website available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Information you send through this website is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Please note in particular the request there not to send detailed medical documents through the website, email or WhatsApp.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon, and any dispute arising from the use of this website falls to the competent courts of Beirut.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its date shown above.
